Community Guidelines

Welcome to DeckMate™ — your onboard social hub. We want this to be a safe and fun space for cruise travelers. By using DeckMate™, you agree to follow these guidelines:

1. Adults Only

DeckMate™ is strictly 18+. No minors are allowed. Misrepresenting your age will result in account removal.

2. Be Respectful

Treat others with respect, just as you would face-to-face. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats are not tolerated.

Do not impersonate other users, staff, or public figures. Fake or misleading profiles are prohibited.

3. Keep It Legal

Do not use DeckMate™ for illegal activities of any kind. Do not share content that promotes violence, exploitation, or anything unlawful.

DeckMate™ does not pre-screen user content and is not responsible for what others share. Users are solely responsible for the content they post or send.

4. Nudity & Explicit Content

  • No nudity or sexual content is allowed in public or prominent areas of the app (feeds, groups, comments).

  • In private 1-to-1 chats, explicit content is only allowed if both consenting adults clearly agree.

  • Sending unsolicited explicit material is grounds for immediate suspension.

  • Anything involving non-consensual nudity, minors, exploitation, or violent sexual content is strictly prohibited.

5. No Spam or Scams

Don’t use DeckMate™ to promote commercial products, services, or scams. No spamming links, fake accounts, or bots.

Promotions, advertising, or solicitation are not allowed unless approved through DeckMate™ official partnership or affiliate programs.

6. Safety First

Use common sense when meeting other users offline. Meet in public areas first.

You are responsible for your own interactions and safety.

Report suspicious or abusive behavior using the in-app tools.

If you ever feel unsafe or threatened while onboard, please contact your ship’s staff or security immediately — they are best equipped to help with onboard concerns.

7. Our Right to Enforce

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent bans.

Reports are reviewed by moderators and may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or account suspension. Repeated or extreme behavior may lead to permanent removal.

By sharing content on DeckMate™, you grant us permission to display it within the app as described in our Terms of Use.
